One Year Old!

 

My little Mikayla Elizabeth is ONE. YEAR. OLD!! [as of yesterday- jan 2nd] Here is a little review [but a lot of pictures] of her life :)

 

January 2nd, 2013 via emergency C-section at 10:03am.

31 1/2 weeks

4 pounds 4 ounces

16 1/2 inches long

11 inch head circumfrance

John's Baptism

 

What a wonderful weekend it has been in our home! John was baptized on Saturday, December 21st and confirmed on Sunday, December 22nd. We have truly been blessed as we have been following the example of our Savior even more then before.

 

 

The Elders who have been so wonderful in teaching John (and I have learned a lot of stuff along the way too!) My brother-in-law, Joe was able to come baptize John; it was a neat experience to see them in the font together. So many people came to show John & our little family support- the whole room was packed and filled up!! We are so excited for this next journey in our life together! Now we only have eternity to go :)

I cannot believe that my little girl will be one year old in 20 days! It just seems like last week that I was holding a little baby who only weighed 3 pounds 10 ounces!
